Mom's Ceiling

She really wanted her kitchen ceiling washed and painted for a long time....so, for Christmas, we gave her a gift certificate for a day of painting. We tried to do it on New Year's Day,but, "not on a holiday" was her response. We finally had a free day and gave her little notice on Sunday. We washed, cleaned and painted and it looks spectacular. Needs another coat... this Sunday.... I promise it will be quick :)

Well we almost took the snowblower off the tractor and uncovered our trailer last weekend....

Good thing we didn't. Back to more plowing and shoveling today and another plowing bill for our road. UGHHHHH!!!!

And The Winner Is.....

We had a great show weekend. Denver finished his Altered Championship with one win on Friday and one on Saturday. Ike won Winners Dog and Best of Winners on Sunday for two more points towards his championship. Such good boys :0) Now... on to agility in a few more weeks. We're having such fun !!

Happy Birthday Lucas

We had a fun day at Lucas' fourth birthday party on Saturday. He invited lots of friends from his preschool class, old friends and cousins. Josh (cake boss) made an awesome construction site cake... all chocolate... including little vehicles, chocolate covered raisins and mini peanut butter cups.... YUM. After a couple of hours of playing games and opening presents all the kids went home and the cousins and adults continued the party with pizza and drinks until all the kids were ready for bed. Hope you had a happy and fun fourth birthday Lucas... we did :)

Can't Wait!!

It's been so hard to get outside lately. We've had lots of rainy days, the snow is melting and it's hard to walk with snowshoes or without them. Everything looks brown and dirty. I gaze at this picture and think "it can't come soon enough". I'm itching to get outside and do some agility and so are the dogs :) THINK SPRING!!
