Weekend chores... raking the snow off the roof, bringing in wood... because today... here we go again!! Started snowing this morning around 6:30 and it's going to continue 'til Thursday morning. Gives new meaning to the phrase "snow fatigue". Stocked up on groceries early this morning as I'm not going anywhere for a few days. Lots of make up agility classes so far and all the school systems here are maxed out for snow days. Oh well... winter in New England!!!

Views from my Yard

Over a foot of new snow today. It sure does look pretty against the clear blue sky. Another few hours of shoveling and packing dog paths around the yard with my snowshoes. They really have come in handy this year! Notice the pictures of my 5 foot dog fence. I'm getting worried that soon they will just be able to hop over to the other side. I don't know where we will put any more. Well... off to play outside :)

Ice, Ice...Baby

Yesterday... 7 inches of snow... then it started to rain and drizzle. Lee's in Germany and plowing and shoveling started around noon and I finally came in at 2:30 because I was soaked and freezing. I felt like an icicle. Helped Shawn do part of her driveway as her snow blower is in the shop and she was shoveling. Went back out around 4 to shovel around the dog door and a path to the woods for the dogs. They can't even walk in the stuff because there is a crust of ice that they break thru. Luckily the drizzle stopped in time so that the ice on all the trees didn't do any damage and we didn't lose power.
Going out this morning to pack some paths for the dogs with my snowshoes. Hopefully the sun will melt it all in the next couple of days. More snow on the way for Friday... Yikes!!!
